This presentation is dedicated to the history of tuning, our psychoacoustic perception of sound – with the four Descriptors of Acoustical Energy: Waveform & Timbre; Frequency & Pitch; Amplitude & Volume; and Time & the Sound Envelope – Tapered Droning – and intervallic intonation training with a demonstration of simple ear training exercises developed to help create expectation.
